Top Tip to Achieve Your Goals

Achieve your goals by knowing when your energy is at its highest during the day. We all have times when we work best and times when we are slower to get our brains and our action into gear.

Are you a morning person or an evening person?

Do you experience the post-lunch slump or does eating give you the energy and momentum to keep going?

Are you someone who can wake at 5am, grab a cup of coffee and get straight to work?

Or do you prefer a gentle start to the day and find yourself working to the wee small hours?

Perhaps you have limited time focus and achieve your goals because of family commitments. For example, I work between 9.30am and 2.30pm and then from 8pm some evenings to fit in with the times my girls are at school and pre-school.

Schedule your work accordingly

Once you’ve identified the times of day that you are get the most done, you can then prioritise tasks based on when your energy is at its best. An easy way to do this is to make a note in your journal – simply “observe” yourself and pay attention to when you achieve your goals more quickly and more easily throughout the day.

You’ll be more focused, more productive and it will seem as though one hour is three hours because you’ll be more fired up and raring to go at these times.
